The Age Calculator turns a birth date into an exact age in full years, months and days. It handles leap years correctly — including February 29 birthdays — and also reports the total days, weeks and months lived, plus the weekday you were born.
What this means
Your exact age counts the full years since your birth date, then the full months within the current year, then the remaining days. Because months have different lengths and leap years add an extra day, the exact count is only right when the calendar is handled carefully — that is what this calculator does.

Born June 15, 1995, checked on August 9, 2026:
- 1Full years to June 15, 2026: 2026 − 1995 = 31
- 2Full months: June 15 → July 15 → August 15 = 1 month (before August 9)
- 3Remaining days: July 15 → August 9 = 25 days
- 4Age = 31 years, 1 month, 25 days
Important assumptions
- The reference date defaults to the date shown — set it to today's date for a live age.
- A February 29 birthday is considered reached on March 1 in non-leap years.

How is my exact age calculated?
The calculator counts full years since your birth, then full months within the current year, then the remaining days. For example, a June 15, 1995 birth checked on August 9, 2026 is 31 years, 1 month and 25 days.
What if I was born on February 29?
Leap day births are handled specially. In non-leap years the birthday is considered reached on March 1, so on February 28 the age is one day short of the next year.
